In this unit, we are going to understand what rhythm is. In order to do this, we are going to study some of its components, such as beat, tempo, or meter.
We are also going to learn about how we represent rhythm in music. In this sense, we are going to learn about the note values, their relative rests, and how they relate to each other. We will also learn the important role of time signatures, and how these help us to understand how to read a rhythm.
