After learning about rhythm, we are going to be introduced to melody and harmony, two elements related to the quality of pitch.
In this unit, we are going to learn about the difference between melody and harmony, and how they are represented musically in a score. We will also learn about chords and scales, two important ingredients when it comes to making music. We will understand what an interval is, and why we use the symbols of sharp (#) and flat (b).
